Application-level Settings
Application-level Settings apply to the Application as a whole: display name, description, and permanent removal. They are separate from Environment under Core Concepts in the sidebar Settings, where you name an Environment and set Use as default environment for this application.
Open the Application, then choose the Settings tab. The page heading is Settings, with the description: update application name, description, and manage danger zone.
General Settings
- Application Name: editable text field; must stay unique within your Organisation (case-insensitive). Save with Save Changes.
- Description: optional; clear the field and save if you want it empty.
Danger Zone
- Delete this Application: opens the delete flow. Copy in the UI states that once deleted, all Environments and Services are removed and the action cannot be undone.
For delete options (including removal from compute), see Archive / delete / manage applications.
Environment default vs Application Settings
