Use this guide with Application lifecycle so you recognise draft, active, and archived states first.
Archived Applications
When an Application is archived, the list shows View application. On the Overview tab you get:
- Restore application: returns the Application to active when the operation succeeds (success toast: Application restored).
- Delete application (more menu): same permanent delete flow as other states.
The product model treats archived as decommissioned; the dashboard emphasises Restore and Delete for archived Applications.
Delete a draft Application
- From the Applications list: use the trash control on the draft card, or open the Application and use Delete application from the overview more menu, or Delete draft while in the Create New Application wizard.
Drafts are safe to discard if you have not finished setup and no longer need the Application.
Delete an active Application
- Open the Application Overview or Settings.
- Start Delete application (overview more menu) or Delete Application in Settings under Danger Zone.
- In the delete dialog, read the summary of Environments and Services affected.
- Choose whether to remove workloads from compute when the dialog offers it (unreachable compute may restrict options; follow the messages shown).
- Confirm. Deletion is irreversible; export backups or configuration you need first.
After delete
The UI returns you to the surrounding list or dashboard context after success. If deletion fails, use Logs under Deployments and Operations in the sidebar, Deployment issues under Troubleshooting in the sidebar, and Troubleshooting overview under Troubleshooting in the sidebar, then When to contact support under Troubleshooting in the sidebar with the Application id and time of the attempt.
